49mm x 14mm Li-ion Oral-B iO Series Toothbrush Battery – Sanyo (Factory Seconds)

Description

This is a cosmetically imperfect Sanyo 3.6V Lithium-ion replacement toothbrush battery to fit the Braun Oral-B iO series of toothbrushes that take Lithium-ion (Li-ion) rechargeable batteries size 49mm x 14mm, including the iO3, iO4, iO5, iO6, iO7, iO8, iO9 and iO10 models. Not suitable for iO2 models which need 3.2V batteries.

Factory Seconds

These Sanyo batteries are now discontinued and we will not be getting any more in stock. However, we have a few of these cosmetically imperfect batteries left, categorised as ‘factory seconds’. The batteries have marks, cuts, nicks or other damage to the red plastic sleeving which have then been covered by tape. Please see photos for some examples of the exposed damage that might be on each battery. You will receive a battery with similar damage to that shown, and any exposed metal has then been taped over. The batteries are otherwise new and are in full working condition.

This Sanyo CH UR14500AC rechargeable battery is compatible with the Braun Oral-B iO series of toothbrushes, including the iO3, iO4, iO5, iO6, iO7, iO8, iO9, iO10, 6N, 7N, 8N and 9N models which have type numbers 3753, 3758, 3769, 3776, 3794, 3795 or 3796  marked on the bottom of the handle. It must be inserted with the same polarity (+/-) as the original battery. It is suggested that you photograph your original battery in-situ before removing it. Not suitable for iO2 models (Type 3770) which need a 3.2V iO2 battery.

Safety Certification

These Sanyo batteries as originally fitted to iO toothbrushes have been tested for safety by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). UL are an international technical testing establishment, and these batteries have received their Recognized Component Mark for components which is shown as a “reversed UR” symbol on the battery. Lithium-ion batteries can be more dangerous than other chemistries of small batteries if not manufactured very carefully, especially during charging/discharging. It is therefore important to only use Lithium-ion batteries that have been certified as safe in your toothbrush.

This battery is suitable for replacing various original Braun Oral-B Lithium-ion batteries of the same dimensions including ones with some of the following markings, and others:
