This is a replacement toothbrush battery to fit the Philips Sonicare series of toothbrushes that take solderless Lithium-ion (Li-ion) rechargeable batteries, including the series 5300, 5500, 6100, 6500 and 7100 models.

Battery Details

It is strongly advised that you open up your Sonicare  toothbrush before ordering to double-check the measurements as some models are fitted with different types, lengths and diameters of battery. See our battery replacement guides for instructions on opening various models of electric toothbrush.

• Length: 49mm (suitable for replacing 48mm, 49mm, 50mm and 51mm long batteries)

• Flat contact at both ends – observe correct polarity!

This replacement battery is only compatible with the solderless Philips Sonicare series of toothbrushes, comprising the 5300, 5500, 6100, 6500 and 7100 models which have HX model numbers marked on the bottom of the handle starting either HX71 or HX74 only. It must be inserted with the same polarity (+/-) as the original battery. It is suggested that you photograph your original battery in-situ before removing it. Not compatible with Sonicare toothbrushes marked with HX numbers other than those starting HX71 or HX74. Other Sonicare toothbrushes have batteries that require soldering into place.

The battery is suitable for replacing various original solderless Sonicare Lithium-ion batteries of the same dimensions including ones with some of the following markings, and others:
