We look forward to hearing from you!
ordered a battery for Braun “Vitality” toothbrush it arrived quickly. ai followed site instructions – video was very helpful. All done and working fine.
One point to note. My particular model has, perhaps newer, charging base and didn’t have the hole to fit the head in to help remove it.
I fitted an old toothbrush head on and then gripped this, at it’s base, tightly with a good pair of pliers. I then turned the head the 1/8 turn advised and wiggled/pulled on the head firmly gripping the pliers. It came out successfully but it requires patience. Too much force could damage the stem. The head is tight but will come out slowly.
A tiny bit of Vaseline smeared around the head/”O” ring helps in sliding and rotating it back to original position
Thanks for the tip about using an old toothbrush head held with grips to open the handle!
Oral-B type 3728 :
Received my battery today and mounted it carefully. The most difficult part is to desolder the negative terminal and cut the tips of the new battery. Otherwise, it’s not difficult and it works well 🙂
It’s great to hear that you repaired your Type 3728 toothbrush. Thanks for letting us know!
Found my way here from You Tube. Video gave me confidence to try fitting new battery. Was able to identify and order correct battery which arrived promptly. Followed your guide and even though I am not an experienced solderer I fitted the new battery without too much difficulty. Hardest part was de-soldering the old one. Saved a fortune!
Thanks for the feedback on your success story! I’m glad you saved some money and were able to keep your toothbrush going.
Great service, prompt delivery. Brilliant video. Replaced both our Braun 3756 batteries.
Loved the idea that you define 60 Deg C as the temperature of the water for warming the toothbrush before dismantling.
It took me a minute to realise that the charging coil and pressure warning light connections are actually wires that pass over the solder pads and that the ends of the wires are secured to posts.
Your long battery tags distinguish your product from alternatives.
Thanks for your web pages,
