Replaced this battery for the original from a braun triumph 5000, which was requiring continuous charging. Battery is of exact size to original, but the terminals at each end require a little adjustment. The positive side being offset of centre (original) I found it easier to cut original battery out leaving tags in place, soldering replacement to tags. One full charge as of 3 days ago, and still showing full. Hope it lasts another 4 years.

I bought this battery to replace the one in my Oral-B Triumph 5000 Professional Care toothbrush with the External wireless LCD module (Type 3762) as it would only last a few days per charge.
Opening the toothbrush took a while as the base was stuck on with lime scale, but after a little bit of jiggling it soon came off.
Removing the old battery took seconds and refitting the new one took a little longer as the positive battery tag needs to trimmed (to reduce it’s width) and bent appropriately to clear a large spring.
But armed with a pair of scissors and needle nosed pliers the job was done.
It’s now been running for 2 weeks of a single charge!
It would only last a week on the original battery when it was new.
So it cost me under £7 to fix a toothbrush that original cost over £100.
I’m a very happy bunny… thanks toothbrushbattery.com 🙂

Finally after exactly 4 weeks of use (2 minutes each day) it finally needed a charge 😀

My son and I have just replaced two batteries. Despite never having soldered before and thanks to the very clear guides, we now have rejuvenated toothbrushes. Like most modern manufacturers, Braun is taking their customers for a ride – products that can’t be repaired (easily) don’t just happen – its a consequence of poor design and complacency. And a lack of respectively for their customers.
More of this type of thing, please.

Thanks for the feedback Alick – good to hear about your successful family project. I’m glad the batteries and guides were useful. Keep on repairing!

Fits nicely in Braun Oral-B Professional Care 8000 (aka Type 3728). A bit of narrowing of the tags required as per guide.

Change the battery in my Braun Oral-B Triumph Professional Care v2 (3762) with a GP NiMH 2100mAh 42x17mm battery. It was easier than anticipated, just follow the instruction video.

After more than 2½ years my last replacement battery finally gave up the ghost.
Knowing that the battery was on its last legs (it needed recharging every other day) I pre-empted its demise and ordered another battery in readiness.
After ½ an hour’s tinkering the job was done… so here’s to another 2½ years of use (hopefully) 🙂
Thank again toothbrushbattery.com 🙂

I was getting fed up with charging my electric toothbrush as it was only lasting for four cleaning cycles. I replaced the battery using the excellent videos on this website and the result is that I can clean my teeth 33 times on each charge! Fantastic

I ordered a smaller diameter battery than I was supposed to order for my Braun Professional Care. Fortunately Rob was kind enough to accept a return and replace with the right diameter battery. Thumbs up and happy doing business with you!
